One-on-One Technical Mastery

Private Coaching

Fast-Track Your Progress

Accelerated Technical Evolution

While group classes are the heart of the tribe, Private Coaching Sessions are the turbocharge for your technical evolution. Whether you are preparing for a competition, stuck on a specific technical plateau, or simply want to learn at your own pace, a 1-to-1 environment is the answer.

With the undivided attention of an SBG certified coach, you can strip back your game, identify the "invisible" gaps in your technique, and build a personalised system that fits your specific body type and personality.

At SBG Belfast, we don't just teach moves; we build athletes. A private session allows us to dive deep into the why behind the how, turning "knowing a move" into "mastering a position."

Coaching Q&A

What does a typical session look like?

It starts with a conversation about your goals. From there, your coach will guide you through specific drills, technical corrections, and positional sparring to lock in the day's lesson.

Do I need to be an advanced student?

Not at all. In fact, many white belts use private coaching to build a rock-solid foundation, ensuring they don't develop "bad habits" early in their journey.

Can I book a session with a friend?

Yes. We offer semi-private sessions for 2-4 people. This is a great way to split the cost while still receiving highly personalised instruction.

How often should I do them?

This depends on your goals and budget. Some members do weekly sessions to accelerate progress, while others book a "top-up" once a month to iron out technical kinks.

How do I choose the right coach?

Our Head Coach Damien can recommend a mentor based on your specific style or what you are looking to improve. All our coaches follow the unified SBG methodology.
