Growing Gorillas

Building Resilience & Character

Developing the Leaders of Tomorrow

Our Growing Gorillas programme is about more than just martial arts; it's a comprehensive life-skills curriculum. At this pivotal age, children learn how to handle success and failure, how to set goals, and how to persevere.

We teach authentic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques that empower children to defend themselves without relying on aggression. This "verbal Jiu Jitsu" creates a powerful anti-bullying shield, allowing them to walk with quiet confidence.

Parent Q&A

How safe is the training?

Safety is built into our curriculum. We focus on control and leverage rather than impact. All sessions are supervised by certified coaches in a high-standard facility.

Will this help with my child's focus?

Yes. BJJ is a complex physical puzzle. To succeed, children must learn to pay attention to fine details and follow multi-step instructions from their coaches.

Is the focus on competition?

Competition is an option, but our primary focus is personal development. We celebrate individual progress and character over trophies.

How do you handle failure?

We teach that "Invest in the Loss" is the only way to grow. Children learn that making mistakes is a required and valuable part of the learning process.

Will it make my child aggressive?

Actually, the opposite. Children with the physical skills to defend themselves are often the calmest. Confidence removes the need to "prove" anything through aggression.

Prepare them for a better future.
